As of 10.5, you must license your ArcGIS Server as an ArcGIS Image Server to use this resource.

The Delete Rasters operation is performed on an image service resource to delete one or more rasters from an image service.

You can provide arguments to the Delete Rasters operation as query parameters defined in the following parameters table:

Request parameters

Values: html | json

rasterIds

The object IDs of raster catalog items to be deleted.

Syntax: rasterIds=<rasterId1>, <rasterId2>

Example: rasterIds=37, 462

Example usage

Delete two rasters from an image service by specifying the following for rasterIds: 37,462.

https://myserver.mydomain.com/arcgis/rest/sampleImage/ImageServer/delete?rasterIDs=37,462
